It all started when…
In 2006 while at a conference, John met a native of India. His new found friend told him about how he worked with kids scavenging dumps and with people with HIV. Two years later John traveled to India to witness his friend’s work firsthand. John was hooked and upon his return he began sending money in support of these much needed charitable endeavors. As friends heard of the need, they began to contribute. In 2015, Barnabas Benefit, yet unnamed, was doing so much good, that John and Natalie decided it was time to apply for 501c3 status. From its humble beginnings, Barnabas Benefit has grown to what it is today.
